Developed for Going for Green by BFF, we believe that EcoCalŪ is the first tool of its kind that allows individuals and households, to measure the environmental impact of their lifestyle.

EcoCal is also ideally suited for business use, for example:

  • Branding with your corporate logo and environmental policy for use in-house or for distribution to customers and clients

  • Making available on your intranet.

  • Communicating your environmental policy to staff in accordance with ISO14001

  • Educating and motivating your staff

  • Integrating into an employee involvement programme

 NOTE: Despite continuing demand for EcoCal, Encam (formally Going for Green) no longer support distribution in the UK. BFF have therefore partnered with Open University to continue to offer EcoCal free for download to UK householders only.

This course is for anyone concerned about their impacts on the environment, about global environmental issues and the role of technology in creating a sustainable future. Its themes are You and the environment, Travelling light, Food chains and Thinking globally, supported by files on Energy, Resources and Human and Ecosystem Health. The course includes optional computer-based activities, including EcoCal.
